Culinary Shop Stewards Class of 2008

In June, nearly 1,000 Culinary members graduated from the Local 226's most comprehensive and ambitious series of shop steward training classes ever.  These shop stewards had to complete all 7 classes that were divided into weekly sessions lasting 2 hours each.  Some of the topics covered were Health and Welfare, shop stewards rights on the job and the history of the Union.

Congratulations to the new graduates!  Your commitment is the key part of our Union's overall strength.
