Voluntary Life and Disability Benefits

VOLUNTARY LIFE AND DISABILITY BENEFITS

The Culinary Workers Union sponsors a program that provides supplemental permanent life and extra disability insurance to Culinary Union members. The insurance products are underwritten by the Boston Mutual Life Insurance Co and are especially designed to supplement the life and disability insurance benefits provided by the Culinary Health Fund.

Participation in the program is strictly voluntary and because these products are a guarantee issue for newly eligible Culinary members, the window period for enrollment comes about only once each year.

To find out more information about what voluntary insurance products are available to you and when you may enroll call the Voluntary Benefit Office at (702) 386-5240 or (702) 386-5179.
