LAS VEGAS (AP) — Hundreds of unionized workers have marched in downtown Las Vegas to demand new contracts with two casino-hotels.
Members of the Culinary Union on Thursday marched down the Fremont Street entertainment district. The group of workers at one point was as long as three city blocks.
This is the latest effort from bartenders, housekeepers and other workers to secure new five-year labor agreements with the D and Golden Gate casino-hotels.
