Secretary Walsh to visit Las Vegas to discuss American Jobs Plan with Nevada workers, state and business leaders
Secretary, Gov. Steve Sisolak to announce workforce investment in Nevada workers

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, June 22 to discuss how the American Jobs Plan will make once-in-a-generation investments in our nation’s infrastructure, workforce and families in Nevada and across the country.
 
On his first of a two-day visit to the area, Secretary Walsh will tour the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas and visit the Culinary Workers Union Hall for a town hall discussion. Later, he will join Gov. Steve Sisolakfor a roundtable at the College of Southern Nevada, where they will make a joint announcement regarding investments in the Nevada workforce.
