Hillary Clinton champions more than just immigration to court Latino voters

Clinton paid homage to the service workers in Las Vegas, where the culinary union is politically powerful. Earlier Thursday, she visited with culinary workers in the kitchens at the Aria, an upscale and unionized hotel on the Las Vegas strip.

"Las Vegas wouldn't exist without the cooks, the dishwashers who stand on their feet all day," she said. "The housekeepers, the food servers, the porters and the dealers -- make no mistake, this is a city that runs on hard work, on grit as well as glitz."
