“It’s June of 2015; there is plenty of time to talk about endorsements,” said Culinary political director Yvanna Cancela when I asked her about embracing Clinton. “Right now, our members are listening, learning and looking to see which candidate addresses issues they care about—just like the rest of the country. We are the largest Latino organization in Nevada, and that means when you talk about the Latino vote, you’re really talking about Culinary union members and their families. When we do endorse a candidate, she or he will have the full weight of the union behind them."
