The culinary union. Contracts for Local 226, which represents 55,000 culinary (and valet and other) workers in the city and strip, expired Sunday, and they’re sabre-rattling in a big way. They’ve set up a website, vegastravelalert.org , for travlers to Vegas to check to see if they’ve gone out on strike.
