AFSCME Members from Across the Nation Rally in Support of NV Culinary Union

Trump Hotel Las Vegas Workers Urge Donald Trump to Negotiate a Fair Contract Now

Las Vegas, NV – Members of the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 will speak out in support of employees of the Trump Hotel Las Vega, who have courageously organized a union despite fierce opposition by Trump management, and who now seek to negotiate collectively. Trump Hotel Las Vegas employees voted in a National Labor Relations Board to unionize through the Culinary Union but Trump Hotel management still refuses to negotiate a contract. Donald Trump has made a career of enriching himself at the expense of working people, including his own employees in Las Vegas. With workers’ livelihoods at stake, AFSCME and Culinary Union members will rally to urge Donald Trump to negotiate a fair contract with his employees.

WHAT: Rally in support of Trump Hotel Las Vegas employees who want a union contract.

WHO: AFSCME members from across the country and Culinary Union workers from the Las Vega Strip and Downtown Las Vegas.

Speakers: AFSCME President Lee Saunders, Culinary Union Sec-Treasurer Geoconda Arguello-Kline, Culinary Union President Ted Pappageorge, Trump Hotel Las Vegas Guest Room Attendant Eleuteria Blanco, Candidate for U.S. Senate, Nevada Catherine Cortez Masto, and Flamingo Hotel Guest Room Attendant April Haynesworth.

Thousands expected to rally outside of the Trump Hotel Las Vegas.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 20th from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

WHERE: Trump Hotel Las Vegas - 2000 Fashion Show Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89109
