Getting COVID-19 under control is how we can COME BACK STRONGER!
If you have any symptoms or if you have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, the Culinary Union encourages you to get a COVID-19 test.
Testing for COVID-19 is more important than ever. Health officials and elected representatives in Nevada are working hard to ensure that everyone who needs a test can get one. COVID-19 data and test results can help researchers better understand how the virus is spreading.
If you need to get tested, go to: covid.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org/testing to see available testing locations and hours and to schedule your appointment for faster service. Some of these sites also accept walk-in tests, but it'll take you longer to register and fill out your information onsite. We recommend you schedule an appointment whenever possible, bring your ID, and be prepared to self-administer the test.
If you are working and have symptoms or were exposed to COVID-19, check in with your company first and follow the existing protocol in your workplace. Contact the company HR if you have questions.
The Culinary Union urges all eligible Nevadans to get the COVID-19 vaccine, including a booster shot and the flu vaccine. Being fully vaccinated is the best way to protect you, your family, our community, and our hospitality jobs.
