Despite months of improvement in the state’s labor market before the Delta variant took hold, more than 40 percent of the 60,000 members of Culinary Workers Union Local 226, the powerful union representing casino workers on and off the Strip, have yet to return to work, says Geoconda Argüello-Kline, the group’s secretary-treasurer.
