RENO-TAHOE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT VICTORY
Culinary Union members who work as bussers, kitchen workers, cooks, utility porters, food servers, and bartenders at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport ratified their new 5-year contract. This new contract includes strongest language on immigration, sexual harassment protections, decreased costs for Culinary health benefits, improved dental benefit and wage increases. CONGRATULATIONS!

Los miembros de la Unión Culinaria quienes trabajan como ayudantes de mesero, empleados de cocina, cocineros, mozo de limpieza múltiple, meseros(as) y cantineros(as) en el aeropuerto Internacional de Reno-Tahoe ratificaron su nuevo contracto de 5 años. Este nuevo contrato incluye cláusulas mas fuertes sobre inmigración, protección contra el acoso sexual, disminución de costos por beneficios de salud de la Culinaria, beneficio dental mejorado y aumentos de salarios. ¡FELICIDADES!

Maria, a guest room attendant at Sunset Station was fired unfairly. The Culinary Union fought and won. Maria was reinstated to work without loss of seniority rights, benefits, and won $12,820 in retroactive pay. YES WE CAN! YES WE DID!

NEVADA LEGISLATURE 2019 UPDATE
Culinary Union member, Bea Duran, was appointed to represent Assembly District 11. Bea has been a longtime advocate for working families and we know that she will continue the fight for workers’ rights in Carson City.
