SETTLED: MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Stratosphere, Four Seasons, Plaza, Tropicana, Westgate, Fremont, Main Street, Golden Nugget, Binion's, Four Queens, SLS, Downtown Grand, & El Cortez, Margaritaville, Treasure Island, The D Casino, and Golden Gate have agreed to a new 5-year contract with the highest economic package ever negotiated. Contracts are now settled for 50,000 Culinary Union members, and all contracts have been ratified. YES WE CAN!

CULINARY UNION POLITICAL ORGANIZING PROGRAM
The UNITE HERE/Culinary Union’s organizing program is the largest political effort in Nevada and was comprised of 350 workers who took a union contracted leave-of-absence from their hospitality jobs to talk to their coworkers everyday by phone, in employee dining rooms on the Las Vegas Strip and in Downtown Las Vegas, and on the doors in neighborhoods in Washoe and Las Vegas – a field program unmatched by any other in the country.

El programa de sindicalización de la Unión Culinaria, que es parte de UNITE HERE, es el esfuerzo político más grande de Nevada y está compuesto por 350 trabajadores que tomaron un permiso de ausencia contractual de sus empleos en la hotelería para hablar diariamente con sus compañeros de trabajo por teléfono, en los comedores de los empleados por el Strip de Las Vegas y el Downtown de Las Vegas, y en las puertas de los vecindarios de Washoe y Las Vegas – un programa de trabajo en las calles que ningún otro ha igualado en todo el país.

In the 2018 Midterm Elections, the Culinary Union mobilized tens of thousands of hospitality workers and immigrant voters to elect representatives who will fight for our families: Senator Jacky Rosen, Congressman Steven Horsford, Congresswoman Susie Lee, Governor Steve Sisolak, and County Commissioner Tick Segerblom.
