Culinary Union and thousands of workers who have TPS and DACA thank Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, Senator Jacky Rosen, Congresswoman Dina Titus, Congresswoman Susie Lee, and Congressman Steven Horsford for signing onto TPS & DACA legislation.
The DREAM and PROMISE Act (HR 6) in the House and the SECURE Act in the Senate would allow current and past TPS holders who have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 years to adjust their status and apply for legal permanent residency (LPR). DREAMers would also be able to adjust their status and apply for conditional permanent residency (CPR) if they have lived in the U.S. for at least 4 years. This legislation gives TPS holders and DREAMers authorization to work while their application is being processed and allows for spouses and children to adjust their status as well.

La Unión Culinaria y miles de trabajadores que tienen TPS y DACA les agradece a las senadoras Catherine Cortez Masto y Jacky Rosen, como también a los congresistas Dina Titus, Susie Lee, y Steven Horsford por unir sus firmas a la legislación de TPS y DACA.
La Ley del SUEÑO y la PROMESA (HR6) (DREAM and PROMISE Act) actualmente en la Cámara Baja, y la Ley de Seguridad (SECURE Act) actualmente en el Senado, permitirían que los beneficiarios de TPS anteriores y actuales, los cuales han vivido en los EE.UU. por al menos 3 años, ajusten sus estatus y soliciten su residencia permanente legal (LPR). Los DREAMers también podrían ajustar su estatus y solicitar la residencia permanente condicional (CPR) si han vivido en los EE.UU. por al menos 4 años. Esta legislación les da a los beneficiarios de TPS y a los DREAMers autorización para trabajar mientras se tramita su solicitud y permite que los cónyuges e hijos ajusten su estatus también.
