The Culinary Union, which represents nearly 60,000 workers across Nevada, also raised concerns about the potential expiration.
Ted Pappageorge, Secretary-Treasurer of Culinary Union Local 226, said thousands of TPS holders are members of the union.
“We have thousands of TPS members that are Culinary Union members, many of them like our Salvadoran brothers and sisters who’ve been here for decades, who have children, grown kids, children, they have homes, they pay taxes, and it’s critical to our economy here in Las Vegas,” Pappageorge said.
