AFSCME green was joined today by culinary red - the powerhouse that represents local resort workers and wields political clout in Nevada.
D. Taylor, the head of the Culinary's parent union, calls Senate Bill 135 labor's top issue this legislative session. He says labor won't forget what happens come election time.
“What we're saying is you can't be our friend in October and November and forget us in January, February, March, April and May,” Taylor said.
In other words, labor's watching. Senate Bill 135 is working its way through the Legislature, in a session that is scheduled to end in three weeks.
