STATEMENT by Culinary Union Secretary-Treasurer Ted Pappageorge regarding the Assembly District 15 primary:
Culinary Union congratulates Miguel Dávila, a union brother, on winning the Democratic primary in Assembly District 15. He is unopposed in November and so we look forward to him representing the district, and thousands of Culinary Union members who are constituents, in the next legislative session in Carson City.
Culinary Union members were proud to stand with our sisters and brothers at SEIU 1107 to back one of their own. We'll be working alongside Miguel Dávila, the Democratic nominee in Assembly District 15, to take on Wall Street landlords, fight for lower healthcare costs, and stand up to corporate price gouging.
