2022: We Are the Union!
As the Culinary Union continues to fight and win for working families, we invite you to reflect on the past year with our new "2022 - WE ARE THE UNION" video which highlights many of the incredible fights and wins we had last year. Despite the challenges of recovering from the pandemic, Culinary Union hit the streets as hospitality workers fought for a contract, protected union and non-union workers by passing SB386 Right to Return into law, and supported workers who sued Station Casinos for violating the SB386 Right to Return law. Last year, Culinary Union took on the IRS over unfair TIP allocation rates, launched the Neighborhood Stability campaign to ensure more Nevadans aren't pushed out of their homes, and made history by running the largest and strong political program in Nevada to knock on over 1 million doors and deliver Democratic control of the US Senate! From organizing and direct action to political advocacy, the Culinary Union remains a powerful force for workers in Nevada. Join us as we celebrate our history of changing lives across Nevada for the 88 years. 📹 Watch our new video: "2022 - WE ARE THE UNION"
