The museum’s site lists Facing Change: Mexican Masking Today, Ingress: A Photopoetry Exhibition and More among the shows on view. More is the first solo show by Las Vegas multimedia artist and UNLV instructor Krystal Ramirez, KNPR reported.
Her bright, text-heavy works draw on UNLV’s collection of photographs documenting decades of demonstrations in Nevada, from Culinary Union protests in the 1990s to nuclear test site protests and welfare rights protests in the 1970s, according to the report. All four exhibitions feature themes and artists with connections to Mexico and Iran, KNPR said.
