Ted Pappargeorge, secretary-treasurer of the Culinary Union, said since Trump won Nevada in 2024, working-class voters are now moving towards candidates who are “talking kitchen table issues” while Republicans “have no answer” for rising costs. An endorsement from Culinary, which has a long history of backing Democrats, delivers the organization’s massive block-walking program that juices turnout in Nevada’s urban cores.
“Democrats that win Nevada,” Pappargeorge said, “can win the country.”
